Hudson Yards

For this 70th floor apartment in Hudson Yards, the skyline and river views inspired a cooly glamorous palette of greys, platinums and blues. Shimmering metallic finishes, crushed velvet upholstery, and updated ‘70s and ‘80s silhouettes heighten the drama without compromising comfort or livability.

Dallas, Texas

Photos of flowering bushes, bountiful cacti, desert sands, and shared sunsets in Sedona, Jackson Hole and Antelope Canyon, created the inspiration and design direction for this Dallas home. The calls of nature can be heard through moments of color and texture with the teals, soft greens, pops of pink and neutral tones. Custom wood, metal and marble furniture and lighting from Texan, Californian and New York artisans give this house a personal and hand touched feel.

Rhode Island Beach House

Manhattan Townhouse

This townhouse draws you in through its mixed use of traditional and modern architecture. Here we find a balance of comfort and formality with the overstuffed sofas and slipper chairs in the living room. Antique French and Italian furniture is complemented by Lalique lighting in the dining room. Bold yet restrained, earthy tones and sunset colors are reminiscent of summers spent on the Italian coast.

East 76th Street Residence

Inspired by Art Deco and midcentury design, this family’s Upper East Side home exudes low-key elegance. The palette of grays, blues and emeralds was inspired by the church dome visible from several of the rooms. Vintage Italian lighting and textured fabrics add to the subtly glamorous effect.

Amagansett Gardens

The nearly six acres of greenspace surrounding the house feature a range of inviting propositions for enjoying the outdoors. The goal was to create a fluid transition between interior and exterior through the furniture’s form, palette, and layout.

The Younger Set

Tamela’s spaces for kids and teenagers don’t compromise on style or sophistication. Her bedrooms and playrooms are just as considered as the rest of the home, and created to grow with the child.

Madison Avenue

This Grande Dame of apartments highlights original details such as fireplaces with marble mantles, ceiling moldings, and generous sized rooms. The mid-century interiors boldly blend textures, colors and patterns on new and vintage furniture. Details abound with bespoke furniture from local Brooklyn artisans and custom lighting from Greece. Ruched leather, printed and silk velvet, metal accents and eclectic art help create a home that is both elevated and welcoming at the same time.

Hudson Valley Lake House

Using a mix of custom and vintage furnishings, the designer transformed a 1980s lake house into an invitingly bright and modern family retreat. Clean lines and colorful accents meld beautifully with the house’s rustic elements of stone and wood.

Amagansett Residence

The owners of this Amagansett home have a fearless approach to color and pattern, which is reflected in the bold mix of wallpapers, rugs and upholstery. Iconic midcentury furniture imparts a sense of ease and integrates seamlessly with the architecture.

Riverside Drive Residence

Neutral hues, burnished wood, metal details and touches of leather are combined to handsome effect in this Upper West Side family apartment. Rustic, industrial and mid-century elements are all in balance.

Hudson Valley Al Fresco

An easy flow characterizes the house’s outdoor spaces. The deck’s lounge and dining areas reflect the interior’s clean lines, soothing palette and balance of wood and metal. Custom Adirondack chairs surround the firepit, which is crafted from local stone to echo the masonry of the house.
